Is it possible to list a shampoo that contains minoxidil?
I was wondering if seller support could weigh in here. I have a shampoo I am trying to list that contains minoxidil. I just listed another product that has 5% minoxidil in it and there were no problems. But when I try and list the shampoo which has less minoxidil in it, it gets rejected. I have uploaded the pictures to the product image page. I have attached the formulation from the lab of the shampoo which shows how much minoxidil is in it but they still reject it. The shampoo is not considered a drug so I can't get the lab to get a NDC for it. It's an over-the-counter amount of minoxidil in the shampoo. I did a search on amazon and there aren't very many shampoos that contain minoxidil, so I'm wondering if there is some sort of ban that went into place maybe after those products were listed? Otherwise, I'm not sure what I'm doing wrong here.

Could you provide the ASIN you are attempting to have approved? Are you the manufacturer of the product?
Any shampoo containing Minoxidil needs to have testing to validate the amount of the drug in the product. Although it is legal to purchase Minoxidil, Over The Counter, as long as it contains less than 5%, it is still considered a drug by the FDA and requires a National Drug Code.
