Shipment IN TRANSIT-- NOT yet delivered shows 8/100 units received

How can a shipment that has NOT even been delivered shows 8 out of 100 received. It's crazy because a different shipment with the same SKU shows 8 units short. This has happened before and I brushed it off. Has this happened to anyone else?

Lost inventory that's been found but reapplied to a current shipment instead of a closed old shipment due to a lazy warehouse worker / problem solver that doesn't want to take the time to figure out what shipment the found inventory should be applied to.

These things happen all the time. Make sure you have the invoices from your distributor available. You'll get compensate. If they find your product, they take the money back. That's just how it is. Welcome to selling :)

Hello @Courtney. Thanks for sharing that information.

The crazy part is there are 8 missing out of another shipment (same sku) so they probably put the 8 in this shipment that hasn't even been delivered. SO I GET 2 STRIKES for wrong number of units received.

View post

Based on the above information it looks like there was an error made in which shipment those eight units were applied to.

If you believe that this may cause issues down the road, please file a support case and request that those two shipments be corrected.

We ship 28 pallets (full truck load) in to FBA every 7-10 days. In ten years we have never had a shipment checked in correctly. What's even better is that Amazon will use a sku incorrectly checked in as over the shipped quantity to compensate for one that they checked in as short......no matter the item price. In Amazon's world 20 is equal to 10 as long as it benefits them.

Today they have added 78/100 in a shipment that hasn't even shipped. SS doesn't understand when I open a case. Why is this happening. Now I will have 78 missing from one shipment and 78 over another. This is NOT ok. Can you ask why this is happening too often.

View post

Hello @courtney If you share a Case or Shipment ID I can include this in my ongoing discussion with the FBA partner team. I have requested additional details on any steps sellers can take to prevent this issue from occurring.

It would also help if you saved a screenshot showing that you are seeing inventory checked in for a shipment that has not yet shipped.
