I want to warn you about a major risk when selling on Amazon USA. I made the mistake of trusting Amazon’s fulfillment system, and now I am facing legal trouble and financial losses because of their mismanagement.

What Happened to Me?

✅ Amazon received, checked in, and sold my inventory.

I always thought Amazon Global was a good program. Infact was planning to sell via Amazon Global. But now will need to check with Amazon Team About Seller Support before Launching. I hope this is a one of incident and it gets resolved.

Selling in the U.S. comes with many hurdles that sellers in India are often not informed about beforehand.

1) There are few restrictions on sending items to the warehouse. However, once the items are received and processed, your listings might get suppressed due to strict U.S. regulations. If you don't have the necessary certifications, your offers will be suppressed. We learned this the hard way. But if you obtain the proper certifications, you should be fine.

2) Their legal compliance requirements are highly complex. Many foreign seller accounts have been suspended under the INFORM Consumers Act.

3) Advertising costs are extremely high. Without ads, visibility is almost zero.

4) The newly introduced tariffs won’t help. Additionally, many manufacturers will create a knockoff version of your product within 2–3 months if any of your listings become successful.

We’re not trying to scare anyone. Our point is that if you're a casual exporter, making profits on Amazon USA can be very difficult. However, if you're a systematic and serious exporter, this platform can work well for you.

P.S.: We’re waiting for our inventory to sell out and won’t be sending any new items.

Amazon Global is not a good scheme. Executives get in touch and read you a very rosy picture as if the world is under your feet. In reality once you get registered, not a single order will come. Your product may not be seen on foreign sites. I listed 20 of my products for Global in 2023-24.I kept checking and none of my products were visible. I was planning to send shipment to Amercian FBAs. Ultimately didn't., lucky me.

Let me also add, the Amazon.com officials who take your documents for approval, look down upon you, treats you as a brown dog. You can find out from their tone of voice. Funny thing is that, they are Indians.

Spend around 20000/- as monthly fees ( in US and Mexico there is a monthly fees ). Every month a fees will be charged to Credit Card, sales or no sales. Once it dawned on me that I have been trapped , I un-registered.

Happier now.

Amazon Global is not a good scheme. Executives get in touch and read you a very rosy picture as if the world is under your feet. In reality once you get registered, not a single order will come. Your product may not be seen on foreign sites. I listed 20 of my products for Global in 2023-24.I kept checking and none of my products were visible. I was planning to send shipment to Amercian FBAs. Ultimately didn't., lucky me.

Let me also add, the Amazon.com officials who take your documents for approval, look down upon you, treats you as a brown dog. You can find out from their tone of voice. Funny thing is that, they are Indians.

Spend around 20000/- as monthly fees ( in US and Mexico there is a monthly fees ). Every month a fees will be charged to Credit Card, sales or no sales. Once it dawned on me that I have been trapped , I un-registered.

Happier now.
