Frustration with Amazon Seller Account Deactivation and Lack of Support

I’m writing to share my frustrating experience with Amazon Seller Support in hopes of finding clarity or assistance.

My seller account was deactivated due to counterfeit claims, but I’ve managed to successfully remove two of them. However, Amazon states there’s still one claim remaining. Over the past five months, I’ve been unable to make progress despite submitting five appeals — all of which have been denied without clear feedback or actionable guidance.

During this time, Amazon has kept over 200 of my items in reserve and has continued to charge me monthly fees, even though I’m unable to access my account. These ongoing charges now exceed the revenue I’ve earned from the platform. Adding to the frustration, I can’t open new cases or make progress toward reinstating or even closing my account.

I feel trapped in a loop that seems designed to keep my funds tied up indefinitely. I no longer wish to be part of the Amazon Seller program, but the lack of support or an exit process has made it impossible for me to move forward.

This has been the worst experience I’ve ever had with a platform, and I strongly feel Amazon needs to address its processes for deactivated sellers. Sellers deserve transparency and genuine support instead of feeling abandoned.

If anyone has experienced this and found a resolution, I’d greatly appreciate your advice.

Well, one part of this has been solved already by Amazon. You are no longer part of their selling program because you are suspended (probably permanently).

The other part -- the financial issue -- won't go away until all of the inventory held by Amazon has been removed/destroyed. Until the Storage fees will not end.

If you have not done so, try to downgrade to an individual account to stop the $40/month nose bleed.

In order to better assist you, could you please share the performance notification you received? This will help us better understand the specific reasons behind the enforcement and provide more targeted guidance moving forward.

Please be assured that subscription fees will not be charged if the account is enforced. Additionally, if you're no longer able to sell, you may request inventory removal to prevent any further warehouse fees.

Encourage you to reply to this post so we can help resolve the situation and provide the support you need.

I hope my response provides clarification to your question.

Thank you for your patience and understanding. We're here to help.

Thank you @Seller_kIukTwdhvntAp for your active participation in this thread as well!

Regards,

I'm in the same boat. Amazon support is no help and the claim for "suspected counterfeit" product claim against me is from some chinese company that refuses to respond to me. I feel my best course of action is to take flight to China to confront them face to face. Amazon support is no help and I would think after 15 years of selling they would be more helpful. I talked to amazon on the phone and got the rudest person blaming me for the endless loop I'm stuck in. The only thing I got from him is that this happens to "a lot" of sellers and there is no way out. a quick web search and you will find lawyers that state they can help you for $4,000. I'm hoping someone out there from amazon will take my $4,000 to get my account reinstated rather then giving to a lawyer. I have offered the seller $4,000 to reverse their claim with no response. rip_mc
