I don't think Cyber Monday is the busiest online shopping day anymore

Currently seeing a huge slowdown today versus the past 2 weeks - not just Amazon, all platforms. I'd venture to say that the Monday after Thanksgiving is no longer the busiest online shopping day. We will see when the reports come out.

The whole reason there was ever a "Cyber-Monday" was because people would shop on Black Friday, then wait until they got to the office where they had good internet speed before doing their online shopping for whatever they didn't find Friday.

Since almost everyone had broadband now, there's no reason to wait. Stats show that "Cyber Monday" hasn't been much of a thing for years now, other than the cases where companies put on a special sale.

That was the case last year for sure. Also, Cyber Monday doesn't really kick in till after people get off of work. My sales last night were whoa!

This is NOT TRUE for everyone. We are incredibly busy, and Cyber Monday set a record!

It completely depends on WHAT you are selling, HOW MUCH are you charging, and are there any COMPETITORS on your listings.

But mostly, it just comes down to what you are Selling.

Good Luck!

Overall, we are seeing a softness that is unusual for this time of year. Our brick and mortar walk in business has been down, and our online sales have tanked. I believe it will change soon, but for right now all we can do is stay the course and look to innovate beyond the limits of Amazon’s restrictions. We are definitely having more trouble recently with Amazon and our other online venues this year!
