Lot of COD Rejections without even accepting the package

Actually I’ve noticed that most of my returns are COD & bcs the buyers directly rejecting it without even accepting the package. So i would like to know is there any option to take action about such buyers… like giving a rating or blacklisting n all? Would be helpful to know.

There is no solution to this issue. Maximum nos of COD orders get cancelled and dont get delivered.
Amazon won’t be able to help as buyer has this option open.

Generally I file for customer abuse by sending emails to the customer care through seller central.i am too facing same issue.one customer even asked for return when the parcel is still in transit.thats ridiculous

You can inform Amazon seller support about these incidents and ask for help.
You can request them to reimburse the shipping charges as it can be charged only in case of returns by the buyer after accepting the order and if they provide a valid reason for the same.
If the order has been rejected/cancelled after dispatch, it should not be charged to seller’s account.

COD Order Rejection and Undeliverable Address orders goes hand in hand. Almost all undeliverable address orders are COD. In my opinion almost 90% of COD orders are fake orders for various reasons and from various sources.

Currently as I understood this problem persist on all market places in India. May be there is something goofy around this and how it works and how sellers end up paying charges for them not being at fault.

Hope things get improved else sellers might start shying away from market places and look for alternatives.

I definitely support this particular recommendation of customer rating too.
Amazon should maintain the record of buyers with such works.
Cancelling the COD order not only affects the seller’s stock but also affects the sales inbound.
Amazon should think of adding buyers review and stars or other supports which we will avoid false sales .

Amazon is not proving to be profitable at all. Bulk of the sale of proceeds is taken by Amazon and a measly amount is sent to the seller. The product has to be charged double the normal rate to achieve even that. And on top of all that the customers return orders after damaging them and Amazon won’t even pay a paisa to the sellers, but they safely take away their courier charge if it is Amazon courier, but the sellers have to endure the loss of packing material, printing the delivery challans, damaged product etc. I’m closing my seller account today. I’m never opening a seller account on Amazon again.

We too agree to your above message. Amazon should implement a system to protect seller account health from COD rejections like other market places. They are just placing the orders and rejecting / not accepting. We are paying the shipping & packing charges from our pocket itself.
