Licensing a Product to another Seller
How are you required to keep Product Liability Insurance on a product you don't sell anymore. My agent told me its illegal to insure a product you don't sell anymore.
I need my account to manage Brand Registry for IP complaints.
Any advice? Seller Support isn't NO help...

Hi @Seller_n6i8V1jMzQh6p
Whether or not you are required to maintain insurance after you stop selling on Amazon depends on the type of policy you had previously submitted to Amazon. If you had previously submitted:
- Occurrence based policies, you are not required to maintain tail insurance coverage after you stop selling on Amazon.
- Occurrence based policies that contain a sunset clause (which causes coverage to cancel when the policy expires), you are required to secure and maintain tail insurance coverage for a minimum of 3 years after you stop selling in Amazon stores.
- Claims-made policies, you are required to secure and maintain tail insurance coverage for a minimum of 3 years after you stop selling on Amazon.
