Help Needed - All My Funds Are Being Held in Reserve Without Explanation

Hey everyone,

I'm hoping someone here can help or at least point me in the right direction because I'm really no way. Since last year, all of the funds from store have been held in reserve for no apparent reason.

Our account health is marked "Healthy"—no policy violations, no copyright strikes, no payment method issues, nothing. Everything is up to date and in good standing. I've contacted Seller Support several times, and each time they open a case and transfer it to a different team, but then... nothing. Or just post me the definition, telling me that they can't do this. But it doesn't help at all.

we are having the same issue

Support cases 16568740681 and 16569150621 and 16459689441 and 16327441231

Account is in good standing and every dollar that gets "released" then gets put directly to account reserve.

I cannot seem to get anyoneto help

Hello @Seller_uPtflXOKOA6Kl,

Thank you for reaching out. It is a normal part of selling on Amazon to see funds in the Account level reserve section of the Statement View tab on your Payments report. It’s the amount of money that is reserved to ensure that you have enough funds to fulfill any financial obligations, such as refunds, claims, or chargebacks.

Have you updated any payment information recently? This would include credit card or banking information?

Thank you for the case IDs, I will review and respond back shortly.

Looking forward to your response.

Cheers,

Micah

Just an FYI that opening multiple cases for a single issue will delay resolution as at best it will put you at the "back of the line" so to speak and at worst can be viewed as malipulation which will result in severe or no resolution

Understand that support is there primarily to help with system errors. Sellers understanding of a policy or situation is not a system error, hence your getting the run around.

The Account Reserve Policy is clear about why and how much is held for how long. Cant really blame support for sellers who dont look it up or ask for help when they dont understand it...

I didnt get a disbursement for almost 90 days when we started.....now we have express daily payouts....having a gap between accounts payable and accounts receivable is normal in commerce. There is always a lag with terms or payment processors...Best to have a system to cover the gap for 90 days in cash reserve, LOC, CC or Loan
