Brand (registered with Amazon brand registry) not searchable
Hello and good morning everyone,
New to Amazon, got this really weird problem – I cannot search for my brand name which is registered (and confirmed) with Amazon brand registry. Every time I type in “artstifica”, Amazon comes back saying “No results for artistifica. Search instead for artstifica” (which is what I typed in the first place). Clicking the link would then bring up my listing.
I have been back and forth with Amazon seller support/brand registry for the last 2-3 weeks, got various responses/explanations but the issue persisted. So I asked Amazon if anyone else had a similar problem, and what should I ask people to look for in my Ad, but did not get a clear/workable answer. My ASIN is searchable, but telling people in an Ad to look for an ASIN would surely turn them off – it’s too hard to remember an ASIN. Search for “artstifica” and click on Amazon response to bring up my listing is what Amazon suggested, but it causes confusion and turns people away. I myself thought for several days, and several of my friends complained that my listing was not live after seeing Amazon’s response to the search. No one thought Amazon would serve up a misspelling, and none of us had the patience to look at the details to recognize the problem and click the link as suggested.
It seems like a trivia technical issue – you just need to have a one-to-one match for the registered brand name as Amazon did for ASIN… yet the problem persisted. So here I am, asking if any of you have faced similar issues before, and how you managed to resolve or work around the problem.
Very much appreciate your suggestions and guidance. Thank you!
