Hi @Seller_CkGirf8tRNDyo,

If I understand correctly, you’re asking about potential new products, not flagged trademark infringement issues for existing products (as shown on the Account Health page), correct?

As far as I know, the Selling Partner API (SPAPI) doesn’t provide information about intellectual property restrictions for new products or details about gated brands.

A good starting point for trademark and patent research could be the USPTO (United States Patent and Trademark Office) website: uspto.gov.

Hope this helps!

The getListingRestrictions SP-API operation will tell if you an item is (currently) restricted, but it won't tell you if approval will be automatically granted when you try it, which sometimes happens.

Hi there @Seller_CkGirf8tRNDyo,

Based on my current understanding of the Selling Partner API, it wouldn't be able to detect if a product has had specifically Intellectual Property issues. However you should be able to get clarification from the Developer Support Team on if this is possible with the API. Thank you for your understanding.
