GOING FROM PROFESSIONAL SELLER PLAN TO INDIVIDUAL PLAN FOR BOOKSELLERS

I have been a professional seller on Amazon for many years, selling mostly books. It just isn't the same anymore and I am seriously considering go to the Individual Plan. I know about the change in charges. You no longer pay $39.99 and pay about $1 extra in fees for each book sold. What I am wondering about is any other changes.

Will I still have the same Amazon Seller Central Interface?

Will I keep my feedback ratings?

Will I be able to add books to the catalog that are not in it now?

Will I have the same access to all the reports?

Any help would be appreciated.

The closing fee is $1.80 per unit sold for products in the Books, DVD, Music, Software & Computer/Video Games, Video Game Consoles, and Video Game Accessories categories.

PLUS

The per-item selling fee will apply to all sellers with an Individual selling plan. The rate is $0.99 per unit sold.

You lose some access to business reports.

You can no longer upload templates

You won't be buy box eligible (I believe)

You can't set your own shipping - Amazon will apply a shipping credit that may or may not actually cover the real cost of shipping - so you may have to adjust prices.

This Plan Comparison chart may answer some of your questions. Hopefully some individual sellers will come along to answer your question regarding interface and any others that aren't addressed on the help page.
