Which barcode to use?

I am planning to use Amazon FBA, I currently have a product produced at a private label supplier. I have purchased a EAN barcode for it. I want to include the FNSKU barcode on the label of the product so I don't need an extra sticker to simplify the process.

My question is, do I need to have the EAN barcode on it at all or can I just use the FNSKU barcode on the product label?

I generally only use the FNSKU barcode, occasionally when the product comes in a box with a very visible EAN I might go for that. I have never used the two together though.

Some categories dont allow FNSKU's.

Where did you purchase your EAN from?
