TEMU is selling Amazon print on demand designs for cheaper than Amazon!?

What does this even mean? Is there a future for Amazon if Chinese Marketplaces are allowed to continue to have unlimited direct access to the American Consumer?

Amazon needs to have some lobbyists addressing this issue ASAP.

Chinese direct access to the US Consumer will displace a lot more US jobs than the manufacturing displacement of a generation ago. The internet seems to be opening the door for displacing entire US industry verticals.

Well the issue has made it very expensive for both the seller and buyer here. Go thorough the number of fees we pay Amazon to sell. It was Amazons purpose to make all products more expensive by making sellers raise product fee to cover ads and fee through Project Nessie.

This has backfired. Amazon I believe did not expect the dominance of TEMU. Shein, Aliexpress, Tiktok with cheaper products.

Now Amazon is still at it by removing relevance with featured products to the consumer. I can tell you I did a search yesterday. I was shown the most expensive products. After doing multiple searches I finally foundsimilar products that were considerably less to purchase. Now the average consumer IS VERY PRICE CONSCIOUS, and it is one click away to go elsewhere.

Relevance NEEDS TO COME BACK HERE TO SELL.

Hello @Seller_0qyRtqm32cQSi

Your opening post is borderline off topic. Our forums are for sharing information about selling on Amazon, not commentary about the larger marketplace. I am leaving it for now, but if subsequent posts continue and get in any way inflammatory, I will need to close the thread. I appreciate your understanding.

Hi SEAmod,

Sorry for that, I'm not intending to make off topic posts or violate the rules at all.

Sometimes there are marketplace level issues that I think are worth surfacing both to the seller community and to Amazon. This increased competition definitely does impact the selling experience on Amazon.

I know there's a tendency to blame Amazon when things go wrong, this is not meant to be that at all.

I decided to rewrite the post with a clearer intent. I acknowledge this one wasn't very well thought out before posting it.

Can you please review the new post it let me know if it's ok?

Thanks
