Shipping adjustment/general adjustments scam
I keep getting hit with “shipping adjustments” after the fact. On almost every order I ship out. It claims the dimensions reported by the carrier do not match the dimensions I submitted. But when you actually look at the carrier dimensions, they are EXACTLY the same. Of course I have submitted numerous tickets to seller support, and they are worthless like always.
I also have a “general adjustment” where Amazon just decided to take my money with zero explanation. I submitted a ticket 2 months ago and they refuse to even answer my case. I have sent numerous follow up emails, no one ever responds.

I have the same. Amazon customer service tells me to call UPS. UPS says they cant talk to me because I dont have an invoice because it is Amazons bill. Im told to reopen a safeT claim and then Amazon says they cant be reopened. I have over 100 5.00 plus charges to my bill in the last 6 weeks. Amazons reply OH WELL!!!! we need to have this investigated. Amazon doesnt have a billing dept. This seems odd....Is there anything we can do. at this rate I will be out of business before the end of the year...

I just stopped using UPS altogether. UPS is a scam as far as charging additional "adj. fees and special handling fees". Got tired of waking up every morning to a list of these additional fees. (My local UPS store has always agreed with me in that my shipping box dimensions and weight are correct).
UPS has scammed me of about $3k this year so far :(

the real kicker is that what you pay Amazon for a shipping label is not the amount they pay the carrier for the shipment, not even close. for you to have an idea how little they actually pay just look how small a fba fee is it would not be possible if they weren't paying the carrier, peanuts. So these adjustments are mostly if not all profit for Amazon on a return that had not item not as described been falsely chosen you would not be responsible even for the initial charge
So it's adding insult to injury. which all of it ends up in their pockets.

It is time for a class action law suit against Amazon’s unfair and disgusting treatment towards sellers like us. I have same issues and not receiving any response. This is unacceptable and unbelievable that Amazon can charge us whatever, whenever they want. We must take action now!
