Amazon subscription fee invoices

Hi,

I am a seller from Hungary and my main marketplace is amazon.com. I have been subscribed to amazon for the last 2 months. I added my business VAT number on Amazon, where it was requested.

In Hungary, we need to provide our accountant with an invoice every time after my business card is charged. However, I cannot get an invoice from Amazon. Customer service said the following:

Please note, In US accounts, once a VAT registration number is provided and VAT is no longer collected, you will NOT receive a zero rated Selling Partner fee tax invoice for your NA (North America) Selling Partner fees. Hence on the above mentioned basis, invoices are not generated as you have uploaded your VAT ID in our system by 21/06/2023 so once it is verified the invoices will not be generated in seller fee invoices tab. But you have multiple option to check your Sales tax information in seller reports.

However, reports and CVS files are not sufficient for my accountant. Has anyone experienced this before? Please advise.

This answer from Amazon is correct, you will not find some kind of invoice for your monthly fees in the reports. Ask your accountant how to create some kind of proof, since it is clearly visible on your bank account statement that this charge is coming from Amazon.

BUT wait, since they charge your card that means that you have no sales. Why don't you downgrade from "Professional selling plan" to "individual selling plan"? Like this you will not have to pay a monthly fee.
