I permanently deleted the listing, however product detail page and reviews are still searchable on Google

I came to a conclusion that my product (I am the only manufacturer and seller of this product) is not a good fit for selling on Amazon US so I permanently deleted the listing. However product detail page and reviews are still searchable on Google. I want that everything is removed, how can I achieve that? Have contacted support but haven't received a clear answer...

Unfortunately, its not possible. Even though you delete a detail page, Amazon still has it on the catalog for an undefined period. This could be 1 week-3 months.

A good way to check it (without going on google) is to write down the ASIN of the product you deleted. Try adding it to your inventory. If Amazon allows you to add the ASIN and even has pictures to go along with the ASIN, its not deleted yet and you have to continue waiting.

Google is a bit better as they take a week to delete any old website that is no longer active.

You might be able to force the listing removal by adding certain tags to the product that are know for triggering the bots. But I would make sure you have all your money and inventory handled first. Otherwise nothing is stopping someone else from listing on it.

I believe you can use the Inventory Loader template to remove all of your contributions to the listing by putting an "x" in the add-delete column. The ASIN will still be in Amazon's catalog, but everything that you contributed to the listing will be gone.
