Easy Ship Problem
It was a pleasure to know that my product was approved for Easy Ship, I was excited as my Cash On Delivery was activated now, but that excitement was short lived and it slowly turned into a nightmare of returning orders, on a daily basis, I am getting 5 to 10 orders returned to me, and almost all are undelivered one’s (meaning it was not even attempted to deliver to the customer), many a times the customers are not always present, ATS don’t even bother to re-attempt delivery, and simply return it back, saying customer reject, Previously I was using FedEx for my delivery, and I was paying them Rs. 66/- per shipment including GST, Amazon is charging for the same Rs. 76/- including GST, but while using FedEx, I was not getting, even a single order as returned, there where no return at all, as FedEx and all other courier companies re-attempt at least three time before returning the order and when I called Amazon Seller support, they are asking me to keep a track of the shipment moments and subsequently call the customer to be in place at the time of delivery, which is practically impossible. After pursing with Amazon and follow ups I have literally lost all hope on Amazon Easy Shipping, ATS just through the product back to you as they are not loosing anything and as a seller I am loosing on shipping cost, Packing Material cost, labor Cost etc. My product MRP is Rs. 250/-, when I get an order back, I loose almost Rs 110/-
I would like to request to Amazon India to kindly look into this very serious matter and refine your shipping service, which is in a very bad shape as of now, I believe I am not the only seller that is feeling the heat right now from this,

this is very common problem with ATS.
many times they dont even put one attempt for delivery due to more diatance from their location. they just return by saying rejected by customer.
recently amazon started OTP facility for buyers to receive delivery with sign. if ATS person does not enter OTP provided by customer than delivery of parcel will not show as delivered.
even for ATS retun orders OTP is mandatory for delivery person to collect from seller and enter. if seller does not have an OTP than he will not deliver return.
but there are leackages in that system also which need to correct by ATS.

Thats really funny and annoying too. How can somebody thats too from support suggest such stupid solution. They are just good at giving you help topic links. Thats it.

This is exactly what I was told when I complained about too many returns, the lady on the other side gave me a suggestion that after receiving order I should call the customer to reconfirm the order and after that I should track the shipment and then subsequently call the customer to be in place when the delivery guys come to give you your product. In that way the customer will receive the order and then there will no return, Moral of the story, Opt for self ship then Easy ship.
