All messages from customers should show up in your buyer messages.
Click on Buyer Messages in Seller Central and reply back to the buyer using a follow-up message.
Don't worry about the message already sent. Just clarify everything in a second message.

Hi @Seller_tqIlircEmv6stand thanks for reaching out. It sounds like the communications you're describing with your customer happened via email--not on Amazon itself, where they'd display publicly. Is that correct?
If so, @Seller_ENBrTBTSn3PDqhas provided you with good guidance (thank you!). You can't edit an email once it's been sent, but sending a follow-up correction should suffice.
