Editing an answer to a customer question

I received an email from Amazon that a customer had a question and answered the question. I made an error in the answer. How do you edit your answer?

All messages from customers should show up in your buyer messages.

Click on Buyer Messages in Seller Central and reply back to the buyer using a follow-up message.

Don't worry about the message already sent. Just clarify everything in a second message.

Hi @Seller_tqIlircEmv6stand thanks for reaching out. It sounds like the communications you're describing with your customer happened via email--not on Amazon itself, where they'd display publicly. Is that correct?

If so, @Seller_ENBrTBTSn3PDqhas provided you with good guidance (thank you!). You can't edit an email once it's been sent, but sending a follow-up correction should suffice.

Please let me know if you have any further comments or questions--I'm always happy to help.

Thanks again,

- Danika
