Old listings randomly turning into pre-orders (FBA in stock)
Hi all,
I had this problem earlier this year. About 15 listings would read as pre-order, even though the release date was from an earlier date, and I went around in circles for support to temporarily help me---only for 13 of the 15 listings to go back into stuck preorders, with 2 working.
I gave up, and deactivated the listings and haven't sold those skus since.
However, while we are also seeing sluggish sales this month, compared to previous Octobers, I was reviewing my ad campaigns, one of the only places I can easily see if something is stuck in pre-order, and now 18 different listings, that have been selling in the past no problem, are now also stuck in pre-orders. Changing the date doesn't seem to work. Would removing the release date altogether do the trick? I can't keep having random listings every 6 months just stop working out of nowhere, but you all know that.
I can't for the life of me find ANYONE else that has ever had this problem, no amount of searching here, or through reddit, or a google search, nothing. I don't know what to do, and I don't know how to get customer support to help these specific listings without them telling me to simply update the product descriptions and wait 24 hours. Now the customer support auto-replies say to delete the listing, wait 24 hours, and relist it with the fixed information.
I mean I can try that, but yeah, it worries me.
If anyone has an answer, thank you!

Have you checked the restock date? Having a date in that field will let the inventory sell, but the orders' ship date will be what is set for the restock date.
