FBA Fees, A Case Study
Just wanted to share what may be eye-opening to many regarding the current state of FBA fees.
With the recent placement fees, low inventory fees and the soon-to-come new FBA returns processing fee (not to be confused with the FBA returns processing fees we already pay), I had to re-do my spreadsheet and already have had to pull one item from FBA. This is another I am considering (small oversize, 2" x 2" x 19", 4 oz, thus spreading it out over several shipments likely would result in going to the same fulfillment center, so I didn't even try eliminating the placement fees):
And this is all before the storage fees, low/high inventory fees, return fees, etc...
Does my math look right? $17.01 to fulfill...ouch...AND I make less than Amazon does...seems outrageous and extremely discouraging to me...

Have you done the math for FBM? Sometimes it makes sense, and other times it doesn't.
