Greyed out pickup slots and unavailability of appointments

This is to inform you that we are currently experiencing constraints at FCs due to high inbound volumes. You may experience appointment unavailability for self-drop shipments and greyed out pickup slots through ATS for the next 5 days. Please be assured we are working to unblock these constraints as soon as possible and request your patience. You may explore the alternate options we have.

Preview appointment feature - This feature is to check for slot availability at the FC before confirming the shipment. This will ensure that the seller confirms shipments for FCs in which there are slots available. How to use - On step 2 of the Send to Amazon workflow, you will see the “View FC appointment slot” tab to preview available slots once you input the number of boxes and select a carrier.

Alternate FC recommender - This feature recommends alternate FCs to sellers in case of calendar blackout (no slot availability) for self-drop appointments. This feature recommends other FCs in case of calendar blackout while the seller is using the preview appointment feature. How to use - If the seller sees a calendar blackout while previewing FC appointments in step 2 of the Send to Amazon workflow, a “Check availability” button will appear at the bottom. Sellers can review slot availability in alternate FCs.

If you are unable to get a successful appointment even after following the above options, please try the process after 5 days.

I don't know what in the world is up with Amazon. The entire capacity planning has gone for a toss. They aren't able to plan for Easy Ship pickups nor are they able to plan their FC inbound volumes.

We are getting orders on Monday for a pick up date on Saturday!!! That is just atrocious! Why would the customer want to wait so many days?!

This is really poor planning. Hurting the business and spoiling the customer experience.

Amazon being Amazon wouldn't even want to relax rules where they could let the sellers ship those EasyShip orders. It's beyond me why is Amazon doing this intentionally. They're missing out on more commission (Self-Ship per unit fee is more than that of Easy-Ship) and plus ruining the customer experience.
