What happens to a child ASIN if I delete the parent ASIN
I seem to have some issues with my parent ASIN. And it is causing issues with my child ASINs. If I delete my parent ASIN will it leave the child ASINs unaffected so that I can create a new parent and reassign the child ASINs? Also since these are active child ASINs with stock currently active with Amazon FBA will I mess up my current inventory/listings?

Hi there!
In my experience, if you delete your parent ASIN the variation family will simply break down and your child ASINs just turn back to being individual ASINs. No harm done to them
When I did so (also had active FBA stock) nothing was messed up, everything was ok

Yes, you can delete the parent ASIN, and it won't affect the stock at FBA. Like @Seller_j37Nq3vijPtZB said, deleting the parent ASIN will cause the child listings to display as individual product for sale. You can create a new parent ASIN and assign the child listings to it.

Hi @Seller_qmVMOnWWoKXoT, I'm just popping in to say that the other sellers on the thread are correct! Here is a help page on variation relationships for more info, but feel free to post again with any additional questions.
