Regarding tax information submit

I am based in the UK. I created an LLC in the US and got EIN as well. Now I want to submit the tax information in the US seller account. When I chose the US for the organization country, there was one warning: ' i am not us person .....'. So, what should I do now?

Hi @Seller_oJXxVAFGzdL2N,

I understand the warning message can be confusing! Let me share what the help pages say about your situation.

As a UK-based seller with a US LLC, you'll still need to complete the tax interview. According to the "US Income Reporting & Tax Identity Collection FAQ" (help page): "even if you are a non-US taxpayer, you still need to provide us information if prompted in order to retain your selling privileges."

When completing the interview, here's what to keep in mind:

The tax interview will automatically figure out whether you need Form W-8 or W-9 based on your answers. When entering your business information, make sure to use the exact name that appears on your CP575A notice from the IRS - this is mentioned in the "I received an error message" section of this help page.

For the LLC classification part, you'll find detailed guidance under the "Federal Tax Classification" section here: help page.

One important thing to note: if you receive a W-8 form, it will expire "on December 31, following three years after a seller provides it to Amazon." You'll need to complete a new tax interview at that time.

Best regards, Michael
