I'm after some advice please.
We have a poem on one of our products which we copyrighted, we found a seller on amazon was using it, we sent them and email and reported them to amazon who accepted our claim. They/amazon have removed the listing and apologised. However the seller keeps emailing me personally asking me to withdraw the case.
I don't know what to do? I feel if I withdraw it they will start selling again, I have a feeling he has a load of stock he has bought and needs to sell it. What happens if you are reported for this?
Any advice appreciated.
Also amazon keep messaging me in Portuguese and it's driving me mad.... Any ideas on this too??

You don't need to do anything as they were in the wrong.
If they are asking for a retraction it maybe because it is impacting their account health or it maybe because they do have a lot of stock
You could consider licensing their use of the poem so you can withdraw the complaint. This way you will make some money from it and they can sell through their stock.
I don't know enough about this so you might need to do some research but I think you can license it for just a sort period of time. So you could come to an agreement for 6 months so they can sell through stock.
