Orders Stop After Ads Are Turned Off

We are experiencing a serious issue where we receive orders only when our ad campaigns are running. The moment we pause or stop the ads, no orders come in at all—even after several days. This creates a heavy dependence on paid campaigns and significantly affects our profitability.

We would like support or guidance on how to:

Improve organic visibility and search ranking

Drive consistent sales without being entirely dependent on ads

Understand why our listings are not performing well organically despite active sales during ad periods

This issue affects long-term sustainability, especially for small and medium sellers.

Hello @Seller_f9gyk6gplTXCo,

My name is Dougal from the Community Manager Team and I can provide a little bit here, but ultimately, I cannot answer your questions because there are so many variables into the ultimate end state being the customer buying.

Sticking with the things you can do without Ad Spend:

I recommend starting on the Increase sales help page there are 12 areas that are mentioned there. I recommend focusing on your listings quality first and then promotions in Seller Central before exploring paid advertisements.

If you are a Trademark Owner and have not enrolled your brand in Brand Registry (no cost) I strongly recommend exploring the Benefits of enrolling a brand in Amazon Brand Registry seller university video as there are a number of resources to improve listings such as A+ content, Brand Store and virtual bundles just to name a few.

I hope this helps and feel free to let me know if you have any other questions.

Best, Dougal
