Amazon Brand Registry- Should I create a listing first or register into brand registry?

What comes first. Creating a listing or registering in brand registry? I have my trademark pending at the moment.

Hello @Seller_OaucFvCVy06sB,

My name is Dougal from the Community Manager Team and I would be happy to provide you my opinion to what you should do first and of course welcome any other Sellers opinions/experiences to weigh in as well. Ultimately, it is your decision which you do first and what is best for your company.

I recommend going through Brand Registry enrollment first as this provides the best way to protect your Brand/products on Amazon. You can apply for Amazon Brand Registry with a pending trademark IF your Trademark is from EUIPO or 1 of 20 countries listed in the Brand Registry eligibility requirements. Please also note that if your trademark is eventually declined by the trademark office, you will be removed from Brand Registry.

I hope this helps and please let me know if you have any other questions.

Best, Dougal
