Recent Change to "Items not eligible for return"

We’ve heard from sellers recently that many of your products have been changed from “eligible for return within 30 days" to "not eligible for return".

According to recent Amazon policy changes, several items are now considered “not eligible for return,” including:

  • products that are not suitable due to hygiene reasons (broken seal)
  • perishable goods
  • custom-made items
  • products marked as Final Sale
  • trading cards and collectible

Great information @SEAmod. Do you actually sell any of these items? Sellers who offer these products all find out that RFS refunds these items as if there is no Amazon policy at all.

Has each one of the products being sold in these areas been marked for NO RETURN in the RAF system?

The only blockage of returns with RFS that I know are the scamming buyers that Amazon's Buyer Violation Prevention Team has placed on individual buyer accounts. RFS blocks their returns because of a bad return history, but still sends them a letter to simply ask the seller for a refund.

Personally, I only sell of these non-returnable products. Products containing a valid live activation code. RFS refunds every time, no questions asked. And when I file the Sate-T claim, even sending a copy in the claim, Amazon only reimburses a 50% restocking fee.

It is evident that the company is broken. Can you tell us what you are doing to correct these situations? As was stated at Amazon Accelerate, attack the situation like its Day One, because no other employees are.

Ity has been 5 days. Have you looked into Why RFS allows all of these products to be returned aging Amazon's policy?
