Customer places 2 orders, 1 x 3 items, 1 x 1 item. Opens A-Z Claim that only received one. Which way to go?
Here for help/suggestions yet again :)
Customer placed an order on 26/09 for 3 x laptops. Then again on 02/10 for another one.
Opens A-Z claim today for a refund that she only received one laptop in the parcel that supposed to contain 3.
Tracking shows the adequate weight, picture taken at the door with a big box.
Got a feeling that the claim dept will decide in the favour of the buyer.
Not sure what to do here so any help would be appreciated.
If any admin would like to chime in :
1st order (3pcs) - 204-0689755-4913106
2nd order (1pcs) - 204-6472077-9133915
Thank you

Hate to say this, but you are more than likely correct on your assumption, Amazon never seem to take into account evidence of weight, or photographs when they consider these items.
I would recommend appealing the decision as soon as it comes in, then when the appeal gets rejected go straight to the managing director team, this does sometimes help, but not always, and don't think it is quite as effective as it used to be.
Depending on the value of the laptops, I personally would then go after the customer, courts will look at all the information that Amazon refuses to. Amazon does not allow this in their terms, but I have done it on a few occasions and not had any comeback, but it is always a risk, so you should be aware of this.
Of course, I hope I am wrong and that Amazon do not side with the fraudster for a change as there is far too much of that on here.

Have you got photos of both deliveries, serial numbers of individual laptops, maybe this should be one for the police for straight forward theft by misrepresentation . They can explain why they ordered 4 laptops in one week and which serial numbers they are in possession of. Clearly the delivery company would have charged 2 different sums of the 2 different deliveries because the weights would have been different.

I always send multiples in individual packages so have individual trakcing numbers for each item

Just a quick update,
A-Z claims team decided in the "buyer's" favour, ODR impacted and all.
I did reach out to them 3 times, not s single reply.
Presented all the facts.
Oh well, not like it wasn't expected from the start. MD email on it's way.

Been in touch with sales support 3 times already, the outcome always is that the "Package didn't arrive", we can't help you and "NOTE : I would request you to kindly do not re-open this case as our response would be the same".
@Maja_Amazonyou're my last hope on this, would you mind having a look into it?
