Charging Return Shipping Costs

I looked over the forum but cannot find anything like this, please direct me if you have seen this topic.

When cx does returns, in some cases you can charge the return shipping and it is deducted from the refund. Lately, you can click the box to charge for return shipping, but the "Submit" button stays grey and you can't do it. This was even after the refund on first scan and you could still deduct.

Am I missing something that changed recently?

Thanks!

I haven't had one in a while but I think you have to wait for the return to get back to you and "close".

Then you should be able to open the return and the cost of the return label SHOULD have been deducted (depending on the return reason) from the refund and you can give a ZERO refund for the return label.

Hi @Seller_O4i29fpwSrNoRthanks for reaching out on the Seller Forums. Your user name made me smile (mom of two here, so I've logged my hours watching Thomas). :)

As for your request, I'm with @Seller_kIukTwdhvntAp. I believe the solution is to wait for the return to finalize. Can you confirm, have you been waiting for the return to close and still not getting the option to deduct the return?

Let me know so I can advise on next steps.

Thanks,

- Danika
