Unable to complete reactivation of my seller account

Hello Amazon Seller Support team and the Account Status team,

After a long pause to sign in to my seller account, I signed in but it is inactive and I received an email with "Action Required: Verify your selling on Amazon account".

I clicked on the link provided: "Begin Verification in North America". The link just takes me to my "Charge Methods" page. I'm not able to upload any verification docs.

I tried clearing the web browser cache and tried it in other browsers, but still the same result.

It would be great if you help me to reactivate my seller account.

You may have an expired Credit Card on the account.

This is my standard credit card template so use what applies!

Amazon is weird on so many levels and this seems to work at least sometimes!

First, be sure it is an actual CREDIT Card. While Amazon claims that a Debit Card will work, that is seldom true! They WILL charge a Debit Card for initial fees but they will NOT take it on continuing basis most of the time despite their claims!

Put the card number into your BUYER side account first. Wait an hour (sometimes less) for the gerbils to work their way through the system and then put it in the SELLER side.

There was one recent response from a seller on a post that they DELETED the card that was on the buyer side and put the SAME card back in after a little bit and it fixed the problem. Amazon is a maze of broken links in their antiquated software.

Here is a thread where the OP says it worked.

Hi @Seller_ugjIrxTIX1JDa

Connor from Amazon here, thanks for reaching out.

I've experienced the same loop with my personal selling account, all I did was change my credit card method and it "reactivate account" button started working (give it about 2-3 minutes after you add new card).

All accepted credit cards are listed here:
