Credit card invalid

Hi everyone,

Since January 29th I tried to get our business credit card approved by Amazon.

We used this card for a couple of months without an issue and nothing is wrong with our credit card, even the Amazon Payments department confirmed this to one of the support associates.

It's the same credit card that we use on Amazon UK and other Amazon EU stores without any problems.

Also our bank sees that Amazon does the test by charging in MXN but not in CAD or USD.

Case ID 14769384261 is the most recent one and got transferred to payments department.

Can anyone help us? It's been a month and I really don't know what else to do.

I cannot access seller central, call support or start new cases because our account got deactivated due to an expired DAC7 policy, altough everyting was correctly listed to my knowledge.

Many thanks in advance,

Kind regards,

Sebastiaan

Does this match up with what you have in Legal Entity and Business Address? If not that could be the issue.

I did read the part about about MXN. I assume your card is internationally chargable?

Hello @Seller_70DCWpIWthwvk,

Thank you for reaching out. My apologies on the frustration this is causing. When you register as a seller, you must enter a credit card that will accept international charges and that has a valid billing address located in an eligible country. Your credit card will be billed the monthly fee (if applicable) or USD 1 (excl. VAT) for purposes of validating the card. For more information, go to Registration requirements by country.

If you have entered a valid or true credit card (not pre-paid or debit card ) for both buyer and seller side of your account and still run into errors, there may be an issue with your bank.

Please kindly share your most recent seller support case ID and I will review.

Looking forward to your response.

Cheers,

Micah
