The referral fee differs by category. Media categories also have a closing fee of $1.80
Individual sellers also pay a 99¢ fee per order.
There are no "handling" fees.
The referral fee (percentage) is based on both item price and shipping charge.

Your're right to start selling as FBM-but even fulfilled by merchant can trip up sellers who don't know the basic rules.
Have you gone thru AMAZON Seller University? It's free and very needful/useful for new sellers. You can watch the videos at your own pace and are able to repeat sections as needed. .
