Brand registration display “Application for brand XMETERS is currently under review”

Dear Amazon team,

hello

This problem has been bothering me for over 2 months and I have been unable to solve it. I have not received any emails from you that can help me solve it. Apart from charging me a service fee, you have no ability to solve the problem that matches your business capabilities.

This is very frustrating for me. I have been unable to upload my product for over 2 months and can only waste time there on your inefficient platform.

Case id 13306710351

My brand "XMETERS" has been registered on your platform for the first time, but I encountered problems. I want to appeal or resubmit for filing, but for over 2 months, it has been showing 'Application for brand XMETERS is currently under review'

But this brand only has one account for me to use. Why is this text always displayed for new brands and accounts?

At the same time, I discovered a very strange problem.

On the brand management page "Brand management", display "1 Total registered brand",

After clicking to enter, the brand "CHUFILRS" will be displayed. This is not our brand, and I don't even know whose brand it is. Why is it displayed in my account? This makes me puzzled. Is it a strange association?

I tried to contact your team in the "contact us" section of the brand registration page, but I haven't received a response from you. Your email is always for three working days, and in reality, it's never possible to determine when. Why can't you improve your efficiency?

I hope you can provide me with a contact email to help me solve this problem. Thank you!!!

Sincere

@Sandy_Amazon

It's a weekend so @Sandy_Amazon is probably off at a fancy party (😁😁) so you may not hear back until next week.

In the meantime, go through this checklist of the most common problems.

There was one recent post and the OP there found out they had an EXTRA SPACE on the brand packaging and that was the reason for the rejection!

Is your Brand registered (or applied for) with the USPTO?

Amazon is admitting applicants under CERTAIN conditions when only filed but not granted.

This is from Sandy_Amazon on 5/16/2023

“To be eligible for Amazon Brand Registry, your brand must have an active registered trademark in each country where you wish to enroll or have a pending trademark application filed through Amazon IP Accelerator. Brand Registry is also accepting brands that have a trademark pending registration in a subset of trademark offices.”

Additionally, IF you ever get an actual TM (if you don’t now) when Amazon says something must match they mean EXACTLY!

That means Street is not ST.

Jim is not James.

ALL CAPS is not SOme CAps

Thanks to Sandy_Amazon for letting us all know that Brand Registry applications are also space sensitive.

And so on………………..

They mean every comma, period, dash, etc. must be EXACTLY THE SAME INCLUDING SPACE S.

Go over everything with a magnifying glass looking for a missing 'period' or 'comma'. Is there a different capitalization, abbreviation, spelling, or, even an extra spa ce?

What is the EXACT BRAND (as GRANTED) on the USPTO site? Is it the EXACT same as the Brand on the Amazon account AND the brand on the packaging?

What is the name of the Owner (REGISTRANT) on the USPTO site? Is it the EXACT same name as the owner of the Amazon account?

If it is NOT exactly the same you will need to show some proof that the two are the same. As I recall, I had to submit my LLC State Registration with MY name as the owner of the LLC since my Amazon account is under a different LLC name.

The OWNER of the Brand is the one that MUST enter into the Brand Registry agreement. If the owner is not the same as the Amazon seller the seller will have to be granted access by the owner.

Hi @Seller_iNo37RDxflmNi

I've taken a look at your application. The teams decision to not move forward with approval was due to the conclusion that the brand/user has engaged in abusive conduct as per our policy.

I unfortunately don't have the insights into what exactly happened, but the teams decision is final at this point and I'm unable to action on anything.

As for the unknown brand attached to your account, if you'd like to open a case with Seller Support, I'd be happy to escalate it if you could send me the case ID!

-Jim

P.S. thanks for jumping in over the weekend @Seller_kIukTwdhvntAp!!
