How do I create an ASIN

I’m a new seller and I use to have a boutique and there’s some items I would like to add to my inventory but I can not figure out how to create an ASIN. Can someone give me a step by step please. Every time I get to that step to add inventory I can not move forward because I have no ASIN.

Hi there @Seller_W5CuONAYyYqor,

The information provided by @Seller_LImVvUWeyiCfQ is correct that you generally need a product identifier like a GS1 registered UPC, in order to list a product. If you provide some more details on your product and any Case ID you have with Seller Support I may be able to point you in the right direction.

Thank you for your understanding.

Welcome to Amazon and to the Seller Forum.

Have you been through Seller University? You'll be in for a very bumpy ride if you haven't.

You don't create an ASIN; that is something Amazon assigns to your new listing.

Intro to listing products

Create listings one at a time

Do you have UPCs for your items?
