Process for Adding a New Brand to the Approved List for Mosquito Repellent Stickers

Hi, @Cooper_Amazon or who else that might be able to help.

I would like to understand the process for having a new mosquito repellent sticker brand added to Amazon’s list of approved brands. What specific requirements must be met, and where should the application be submitted?

Amazon’s policy states:

“This product has been identified as a mosquito repellent bracelet or sticker product. Beginning February 24, 2020, only mosquito repellent bracelet or sticker products from the following brands are allowed in our store: Bugables, BugBand, Buggy Bands, BuggyBeds, Cliganic, Coleman, Cutter, Evergreen Research, Mosquitno, Mosquito Guard, OFF!, Ortho, Para’Kito, Pic, Repel, RiptGear, Safer Brand, Sawyer, Scentpellent, Summit, Superband, Terro, Thermacell.”

However, I have noticed that several brands not listed here, such as Buzz Patch and BugMD, are currently selling mosquito repellent stickers on Amazon. Could you clarify whether the policy has been updated, or if there is an exception process for certain brands?

I appreciate any guidance on how to proceed with submitting a new brand for approval.

Thank you!

Hi @Seller_a5jvU3Gkzg4hS,

Thanks for reaching out. It sounds like your product is made with essential oils. Please contact Seller Support and provide them with all of the information for your product, including name, brand, manufacturer, ingredient list, 6 sided images of your product so they can reach out to the approvals team to see if your item can be listed on Amazon. Ensure to show them a screenshot with the message that you are receiving as well. If you still need help after they investigate, please provide me with your Case ID so I can take a look.

Regards,

Michelle
