Selling on Amazon has been the worst experience of my life in business.

Amazon has taken my money, my private label inventory, and has never responded to my messages about the required actions to resolve this issue. All my appeals have been denied, and they continue to charge me $1,000 per month for storing inventory I am unable to sell.

Selling on Amazon has been the worst experience of my life in business. It not only destroyed my trust in their platform but also ruined my life. The financial and emotional toll has been overwhelming, with losses amounting to approximately $20,000.

In conclusion, Amazon operates in a way that feels fraudulent, preying on small sellers like us. This is how their business works. However, one day, divine justice will reach this platform. Unfortunately, we have already paid the price.

So you came here to rant, utterly useless, leaving NO information whatsoever for anyone to possibly help you, or even just explain what the issue is......

So, here’s the detail you’re so eager to have:

I invested $20,000 in building a private label, manufacturing in China, and shipping to Amazon’s FBA and AWD warehouses. This was all carefully planned to sell between September and December 2024. While that process was underway, I purchased a Meta controller directly from the official store and sold it on Amazon. This is allowed by Amazon, as the platform let me list and sell the product.

Then, my account got suspended. Amazon requested the invoice, and I sent it. They asked for all the details, and I sent everything—more than enough, including invoices, tracking numbers, and purchase orders. Their response? “We don’t care; your account stays deactivated, and all your production remains blocked.”

Does this provide enough detail for you? Now that you’ve asked, are you going to help? Thanks.

Sorry to say, but selling that Meta product did you in. That's a mistake one rarely comes back from. It sounds like you have a recipe rather than an invoice.

Amazon is an animal...and must be treated as such. As in, it is always ready to bite as soon as it feels threatened. It is sensitive and WILL get you eventually.

Sorry...it's a bummer regardless.

Why so snarky? I didn't understand your issue either after reading your first post because you didn't explain exactly what happened. I have to assume that you cannot sell Meta products without permission of the company. The fact that Amazon allowed you to list the product does not mean you have Meta's permission to sell it. So because of that you are done here. I hope someone can chime in with how you can go about getting back or disposing of the items you sent to Amazon(if that is even possible).

Did they ask for invoices for the Meta Controller or your private label products?

You mention having been requested to provide an invoice, was this for the META product that you sold? When submitting the documents you have, be sure that our team can identify each piece of information related to you, your supplier, and the product being sold. If they are unable to verify the details to what they reflect in your account and their investigation, they will be obligated to reject the document.

We would also recommend ensuring that each document being provided can be validated as any discrepancy will be enough for a rejection. We do encourage you to continue to provide what you have, but we ask you remain aware that if our team is unable to verify the details, we cannot guarantee a resolution for this concern.

Please continue to utilize this thread with any future questions or updates that you have on this situation for continued support.

Best,

Atlas

I couldn't agree more! Been a seller for over 4 years. My account was deactivated this week. For the last couple of weeks my account has been losing listings something with the manufacturer. These listings I have had zero inventory and zero sales. I would delete the listing. Didn't think it was a big deal if you weren't selling that item anymore. then they started in with the counterfeit claims same thing on listing with zero inventory. I have tried to respond but the links just go in circles. I intended to close my account at the end of the year anyway. But I can't even get to some place to communicate. AI can't answer everything! I read someone called, where is this number? I have little funds and would just like to close the account now.

Amazon to us is one of the biggest scam known to date.

They ask you to undergo enormous amount of verification, they charge you for the service than they deactivate your account. They keep repeating this cycle and basically gather robe you until you give up.

Use other services and leave this scam

Sadly, that's an Amazon trap hundreds of sellers fall victim to every day. They will let you list, but they are "assuming" that you looked at the "sourcing guidelines" and "invoice requirements" in their policies, as you agreed you read all the policies and understood them before you listed.

So you do not have a proper invoice for the Meta item and just for that, your account wont be restored.....

As Atlas said, you still have not provided quite enough information. To get your inventory back, you will need to provide your manufacturing contract and purchase orders accounting for all products you shipped in.

You last option is arbitration/mediation.
