All my porfits go to amazon advertising, now they overcharge me FBA fee
I have a product with a SKU that should fall within the 2.5+ to 3 pound size tier, with an FBA fee of $6.39. However, Amazon is charging me $7.33 instead.
I have provided 3 sides measurement photos for my product, which clearly show that it falls within the correct size tier, but Amazon refuses to acknowledge it. They measured the length and width correctly in separate cases (13042945161 13023707411), but still measured each 0.5-1 inches longer than the actual length or width to push it into a higher size tier and charge me more fees. What's worse, now they refuse to remeasure anymore.
This year, Amazon has been very strict with sellers. Despite my 10%+ ad conversion rate, all of my new launches cost huge advertising fees without increase in organic keywords ranking. Moreover, my old SKU's suggested bid suddenly skyrocketed. I am extremely frustrated, I can't see how I can maintain a profitable business while only contributing to Amazon's profits with my savings.
Has anyone else experienced incorrect measurements and had trouble getting Amazon to correct them? I would greatly appreciate any advice.

It sounds like you have already opened a case to remeasure. If you have not you can search help for "cubiscan" and the remeasure workflow will populate.
I have also seen CPC increase dramatically and have had to optimize campaigns to limit costs. This involved archieving keywords with a CPC that is out of my budget, addidnt negative keywords to limit spend, using automatic campaign which have a lower cost, using category and asin targeting campaigns which are also usually lower cost.
Is your product packaged in poly bag? We have some items poly bagged which scans at a larger dimm due to any slack in the bag...

Hey there @Seller_sirmkwKUppzZk,
Thanks for posting your thread, and providing the relevant details. I am going to investigate the seller support case numbers you provided to determine if there are escalation options available. I will look to contact the corresponding internal team to assist in getting your inventory measured correctly. I'll update you here as soon as I have more information. Thank you!

I have been battling the incorrect measurements for months. I sell decals in a flat cellophane package. Amazon has "measured" a quarter of my products to be 5" thick. This allows them to double my FBA fee. No amount of requests for remeasuring will change the outcome.
I was lured into trying the FBA Small & Light program based on the advertised fees, but I found out that after they have my products, they can charge whatever they want and there's nothing I can do about it. Where I come from, that's called a scam.
The incorrect measuring is a not an accident. It is a business model. I finally reported this practice to my State's Attorney General and they have opened a case. I encourage you to do the same. You will get no resolution with seller support.
