Does anyone know how Vine matches products with reviewers? We have a very specific product that only appeals to a certain client base and which most clients would not know what to do with. I'm concerned about signing up for Vine in case our product gets in the hands of reviewers that don't get it

Vine Voices choose the products the want to review themselves. Your product will show up in an exclusive landing page for Vine Voices and they will pick and choose which products they would like to try out and review.
Be sure to check all Vine program policies and potential product restrictions before enrolling.

don't make the mistake that we made and include all variation options if you have multiple sizes. you cannot remove the larger variation from the enrollment, and if you stop enrollment, you cannot re-enroll.
in summary - make sure to only enroll your most inexpensive variations because the vine voices will 100% take advantage of being offered the larger sizes.
All in all i'm pretty disappointed and wasting a ton of money on this program now that i've committed the $200 per parent listing.
