Can Anyone Put review with comments against the product who have not purchased any ASIN?

An amazing thing I have noticed that , A product I have listed In my Inventory but yet now no sell of the product ,

Surprisingly noticed a customer put his review and comments ( negative) against this ASIN, I create a case regarding this ( ID 11235150862), Seller support team answered me that

((Hello from Amazon Selling Partner Support,

Any customer who has fulfilled their purchase requirements can write acceptable customer reviews according to our Community Guidelines. We never limit the opportunity to review for customers who buy products from our website.

We apply some editorial control over customer reviews and do not allow reviews that violate our Community Guidelines. The customer review forum is a space created for constructive comments and feedback. If any review does not follow the guidelines, it will be removed from the website.)_)

Is it ever been possible any customer can put review against any product that he / she not been purchased ever.....???

Hello @Seller_1xuFi0fQVsYja

I totally understand your frustration about seeing negative reviews on a product that hasn't even sold yet. That must be super disappointing.

Amazon has this policy where any customer who's made at least one purchase on the platform is allowed to leave reviews. It's their way of trying to provide transparency and helpful information to shoppers, you know? So even if someone hasn't bought your specific product, they can still share their thoughts.

Now, that doesn't mean Amazon will just let any old review stay up. They do have guidelines about what's acceptable - no biased, false, or manipulative reviews are allowed. So if you come across a review that you think violates those policies, you can definitely use the reporting tools to flag it. The team will take a look and decide if it needs to come down.

The better approach is to focus on delivering an awesome customer experience and encouraging your genuine buyers to leave feedback. That way, you can build up a solid base of positive reviews that'll really help your products shine.

Also, please know, Customer reviews are about the product, and seller feedback is about the seller and the purchase experience. Customer reviews do not affect your seller performance metrics, but seller feedback can have an impact on your seller performance metrics.

And just to mention - if your products are part of Amazon's brand registry, those reviews can actually get shared across different marketplaces. So that can be a helpful way to boost your overall review profile.
