serial number not verifiable in brand registry amazon
I have applied for a trademark and got the serial number from USPTO. I have tried multiple time to register my brand in amazon. The application can be complete because, the serial number is not verifiable. I am wondering how long does it take for serial number to get synched with amazon database? At the time I am writing this message it has been more than 2 weeks that I obtained the serial number.
Please clarify

The serial number from USPTO means your application is in pending status. When you first get your serial number, it is suggested that you wait at least 15 days from the date the serial number is given before applying for Amazon Brand Registry. It takes about 15 to as long as 45 days for the USPTO data base and the Amazon data base to be in sync for Amazon to be able to verify your pending USPTO serial number and application.
In addition, an email from Amazon to the person on record for receiving notification in the USPTO application will be sent with a verification number that has to then be provided back to Amazon. If this verification number is not provided back to Amazon, then the application will go no where. If your IP lawyer is the person who is listed, then they will be the person to receive this email. You would need to contact them for the verification number.

In addition to what @Seller_EkbLZUYSpmJEy has noted once the USPTO starts working on your application you will still have a VERY long wait before Amazon will actually do anything to protect your TM.
They won't do a thing until it is active due to legal liability if the USPTO rejects your application.

Hello @Seller_M4la4Nd8VgeAz,
My name is Dougal from the Community Manager Team and I would be happy to assist with your issue with completing a Brand Registry enrollment application. I was able to recreate the error you have been getting as mentioned in one of the case ID's I was able to track down and I have reached out to the enrollment team for assistance in determining what the issue is.
I see that your TM is awaiting examination and will be for some time as @Seller_kIukTwdhvntAp(thank you) pointed out, but since your application is over 18 days old (as of today), the enrollment workflow should recognize it, but its not.
I will provide an update to you as soon as I have one, but in the interim, I would continue to try each day.
Also, please utilize the links provided by @Seller_EkbLZUYSpmJEy as they will certainly help as you are able to complete the application.
Best, Dougal

Hello @Seller_M4la4Nd8VgeAz,
I have received a response from the team I escalated to and the response is that it is most likely a technical glitch, but they reviewed the TM and provided some feedback that this TM does not meet the criteria for Brand Registry enrollment.
The TM does not have any literal elements in the mark and this is required for enrollment. You can review the specific TM requirements for each accepted country/region on the Enrollment guidelines for accepted trademark offices help page. Since you applied with a TM from USPTO, here is the Enrollment guidelines for the US.
Please note, you can add a TM with no literal elements to the Brand Registry once you have enrolled, it just can't be used for enrollment.
I hope this helps and please let me know if you hit the same issue when trying to apply with a new TM.
Best, Dougal
