I am writing to request assistance regarding the cancellation of my Amazon Seller account on the U.S. platform. I initiated the cancellation process over a week ago, but I have yet to receive any confirmation via email, which I need as proof to proceed with my Brazilian Amazon account. Without this confirmation, my sales and payments remain blocked, causing significant delays in my business operations.
Please note that I spoke with a very kind and helpful representative from Amazon U.S. on Saturday. I was informed that I would receive a follow-up within 48 hours at the latest. However, I have not received any update, and I am urgently seeking resolution on this matter, as I have sales to process and payments to receive.
I kindly request a prompt response and a formal confirmation of my account cancellation as soon as possible. Your immediate attention to this matter would be greatly appreciated.

Was your account already deactivated by Amazon, if so, you can't close it.
Also, Brazil is now a part of the unified account that includes US, CA, MX and Brazil.

I see that you are attempting to close your US store and you would like an update on this process.
Was your account already deactivated by Amazon, if so, you can't close it.
@Seller_OvL8C4BJWiuS9 is 100% correct here. Is your US store currently deactivated? If so, attempting to "close" that store will only cause you to lose the ability to log back into it. Stores cannot be closed if they are deactivated. You must resolve all outstanding account issues, before you can successfully request closure.
Can you please provide me with an associated case ID so I may look into the details as well? I suggest to review the following help page to learn more about the requirements to successfully close an account...
