Amazon Renewed Products are being returned broken or swapped by buyers and Amazon is still refunding
We are facing issues as sellers that sell in the Amazon Renewed Cellphone category and are looking for any help or suggestions from other sellers here who may be able to help us.
Some customers are returning their devices under 90 days for a refund, which we understand is allowed however, the devices we are receiving back are either broken or not the IMEI we sold them, meaning not our device however, the customer has had the refund long before we get the unsellable devices back from Amazon upon which we create a case showing the broken device etc but we have been told there is nothing Amazon support can do about this we must take the hit.
Any help or suggestions from experienced Renewed Sellers will be much appreciated. TIA.

you can open SAFE-T claim on the auto refunded items and show the condition the item came in.

Hi @Seller_ail6qPlBFKliB
@Seller_XctrnMCRNHJ2pis correct. You may open a SAFE-T claim. Please refer to Possible cases for reimbursement for PRL in the seller-fulfilled network for detail information about the policy and program.
Thanks for visiting the seller forums.
