Transparency labels for products requiring a poly bag

I sell a product that Amazon requires to be inside a poly bag. The bag I used is clear on one side, opaque on the other. Do I have to apply the transparency label to the bag or to the product inside the bag?

Good morning @Seller_R6XWxYg3EVq0j,

Thank you for posting! I have some thoughts to input here.

First, the requirement for poly bags (as outlined in Seller Central) is that they must be transparent. You mentioned that your bags are transparent on one side, opaque on the other but the safest recommendation would be entirely transparent bags.

However, if you were to move forward with the bags you have and they were to be accepted, my recommendation would be to label the outside of the poly bag. From the above linked help page: "The poly bag must have a barcode (such as a UPC or EAN) or X00-label that is scannable through the bag or have an X00- or ASIN label on the outside of the bag." My concern with labeling the item itself, is if the unit moves in such a way that the barcode is obscured by the opaque portion of the poly bag (hence why I recommend labeling the outside).

I hope this information is helpful, please let me know if you have any follow-up questions!
