Product is being oversold when inventory is set to zero
This has happened on two separate occasions where we have updated inventory of a product to zero and customers are still able to purchase the item. We have been told to "close" the listing and units are still available for sale to customers. We have done everything they said to do "close listing", "wait 15 minutes, "wait 24 hours" etc etc. We updated inventory to zero on Friday and we are still getting orders that were placed 3 days later. We do not have an inventory management system outside of Amazon. Inventory is zero but when I go to Amazon as a customer I can purchase the item. Any solutions?

Have you tried updating the quantity with a file feed?

Hi @Seller_VnwICARmIz18F,
Dominic from Amazon here, happy to try to help with this. This shouldn't occur, once a product's inventory level goes to 0 it should not be available for purchase. Have you created a case for this?
Best,
Dominic
