Does anyone use UPS to ship to Amazon UK FBA from overseas?
If so, how do you get the Import Entry Number (IEN) that Amazon requests?
I'm based in Hong Kong and so far have used Fedex. UPS are cheaper but say they cannot provide the IEN. I'd like to be 100% sure that's true, or maybe I'm asking them the wrong way.

You can request UPS to provide customs entry documents. There is a MRN for each shipment which is the IEN.
