1) Amazon is not a Money making machine, so be Patient with your Long term goal to grow yourself in the Marketplace.

2) Always stay near your customer to win confidence of a buyer, so place your stock near to the buyers in order for the buyer to make a faster Decision to buy your product.

3) Have a Listing that is crystal clear like spring water, that enables buyers to place the order with confidence.

4) never underestimate the buyers, Always make sure you make customers happy buying experience and come back for more, so work really hard to create a wonderful products, thats what will give customers a great buying experience, this enables the customer trust.

5) This is an important step he told me, If you are confident on following all the above steps, and now advertise your products, you will reach 7 Figure sales.

He guided me this pieces of advice, and i followed it, now our brand is 7 Digit in sales, We estimate to reach 8 Digits by the End of March. And we surely know we will do it :-) With all confidence i would say that, i followed it, And it Worked. I now advice my co-Sellers to Follow these steps to Grow in Amazon.

Wisdom from 10 Years of Selling on Amazon

Over the last 10 years, I’ve been fortunate to learn from many experienced sellers, and I’m incredibly grateful for the advice I’ve received. Here are some of the best tips that have helped me thrive on Amazon:

1. Focus on what works, and keep refining it. Early on, I tried adding tons of new products, but the best advice was to focus on the ones that are already performing well. By optimizing listings, improving keywords, and running targeted ads, my best products consistently delivered growth.

2. Understand the customer journey. One seasoned seller reminded me to think like the customer. Knowing how they search for products and what their pain points are helped me fine-tune my listings and make them more appealing. Simple changes, like clearer product descriptions and answering common questions in my listings, made a huge difference.

3. Always stay on top of inventory. Managing inventory levels was a game-changer. Another seller shared the importance of always having stock, especially during peak times. I now track trends using Amazon’s tools, ensuring I never run out of stock during busy seasons like Q4. This has prevented lost sales and kept my rankings high.

4. Customer feedback is your guide. I learned the importance of really listening to my customers. Instead of just focusing on getting great reviews, I paid attention to feedback. Negative reviews were often the most valuable for product improvement, and addressing these concerns led to happier customers and better ratings.

5. Use Amazon’s programs to your advantage. A fellow seller encouraged me to take full advantage of Amazon’s programs, like FBA and Prime Day deals. Using FBA helped me streamline fulfillment and focus on scaling my business, while participating in promotions like Prime Day brought in huge sales boosts.

6. Patience and consistency are key. One of the best pieces of advice I’ve received is to be patient. Success on Amazon doesn’t happen overnight, but consistency pays off. By continually refining my strategies, improving customer service, and staying committed, I’ve built a stable business that continues to grow year after year.

Selling on Amazon has been an incredible journey, and I’m so grateful for the knowledge and support I’ve received from fellow sellers. The key takeaway is that by focusing on the customer experience, optimizing your listings, and being consistent, you can build a long-term, thriving business. Here's to more success for all of us in this amazing marketplace!

Thankyou & Regards

1. Your listings are your storefront—make them shine.

A fellow seller once told me that a great listing is everything. I focused on high-quality images, clear titles, and detailed descriptions. This simple investment has led to better conversion rates and fewer returns.

2. Don’t underestimate the power of great customer service.

Providing fast, friendly responses and solving problems quickly can turn a one-time buyer into a repeat customer. I’ve found that even resolving a small issue with care can lead to glowing reviews.

3. Be adaptable with pricing.

One seller advised me to stay flexible with my pricing. Adjusting prices based on competition, inventory levels, or even market conditions has helped me stay competitive and increase sales, especially during key shopping events.

4. Leverage Amazon's tools for growth.

I learned to use Amazon’s tools like A+ Content and Brand Analytics to enhance my product visibility and learn about my customers. This insight allowed me to refine my offerings and drive higher sales without having to guess.

5. Diversify, but don’t overcomplicate.

Another piece of advice was to diversify, but not too quickly. Adding new products slowly and making sure each one fits into your overall brand helped me build a stronger, more sustainable business.

Thanks & Regards

The greatest advice you will get is from your co-seller facing issue. Just have a look into that issue and apply solution to your account.

1)The best practice to grow yourself on amazon is to be patient but also be curious to experiment new product and category to get best winning product and category for you.

2) See what your audients are looking for and there is lake of products in market , you can find this in product suggestion in your seller central

3) Always ask for customer feedbacks on your product, to understand customer experience with your product and service and make changes accordingly.

Thank you.

Firstly, I appreciate Amazon as a brand and its services. As a seller on Amazon, I have always aspired to be part of this platform. However, throughout my selling journey, I have faced numerous difficulties that I want to bring to your attention. I will also mention the positive aspects.

Negative Points

1)Clawback of Reimbursement: On the morning of 9/11/2024, I woke up and opened my Amazon Seller Central account. In the payment section, I saw a deduction of ₹21,929.26 for a clawback of reimbursement. This reimbursement was for a lost or damaged package. According to your policy, if a product doesn't reach the seller within 50 days (30 + 20 days), the amount is reimbursed. However, on the 9th, the money was deducted without any explanation or email notification. I still haven't received an answer regarding this refund issue, and all the orders were old, from 4-5 months ago, yet the amount was deducted.

2)Customer Returns: While I appreciate that customers are treated as kings, some customers take advantage of this and order and exchange items for free. Here are some examples:

2a)One customer ordered 7 pieces of rope light worth ₹13,293 and returned cheap aluminum wire. If Amazon hadn't provided the Safe-T claim option for this order, it would have been devastating for us.

2b)We received an old tiffin box in return for a brand new rechargeable fan.

3c)We received a phone cover in return for a brand new rechargeable fan, among other instances.

*Just think of it like every customer return will give you a heart attack, so be prepared. Also, it's normal for Amazon workers to steal the product.

* one time i also lost the amazon ads access for like 13 days because of some internal issue (during Diwali) and my product campaign was running and i lost the money because of lack of control many seller faced this issue then because of SAKURA_AMAZON it get fixed . (lost the money around 10K in that )

Customer Cancelled Returns: In my scenario, my product box is big (approximately 60 x 30 x 25 cm), so I don't receive the return. Instead, I receive notifications that my product is out for delivery through SMS and email, and after that, no one cares to deliver the product even one time amazon return guys told to my face that no wants to come to deliver package because of distance ( i live in middle of city of city) . I called many times the number provided in the SMS, but they said they don't work for Amazon and asked where I got the number from (I have full proof with call recordings).

Please don't consider me like other sellers. I know each and every policy that Amazon has for sellers. These issues are not fake and are based on my real experience.

*Positive Points

1)Safe-T Claim: This has saved me from many heart attacks.

2)Support Team Access: It is fast, but no offense, many of them don't know anything and follow their day-to-day script. However, some do know what they are doing.

3)Adding New Items: It is easy to add new items.

4)Amazon Easy-Ship: It is good that they don't charge for cancelled order shipment charges.

5)Amazon as a Brand: It is good, and making this kind of company is a big achievement.

If Amazon reimburses me the clawback money, I will continue selling on Amazon. Otherwise, I will stop. It's not a big thing for Amazon; they have many more sellers. If one is lost, another 100 new sellers will come and sell on this platform.

One of the best pieces of advice I received from another Amazon seller was: “Focus on building a strong brand, not just selling products.”

This advice changed my perspective completely. Instead of only focusing on sales, I started thinking about how I could create a unique identity for my products. By emphasizing quality, customer service, and brand consistency, I was able to build trust with customers and keep them coming back. This not only improved my sales but also helped me stand out in a competitive market.

Thanks to this advice, I now put a lot of effort into branding, packaging, and ensuring every customer interaction reflects my brand’s values. It's made all the difference!

The journey of an Amazon seller is much like navigating a vast and ever-changing ocean. Along the way, I’ve had the privilege of connecting with incredible sellers who generously shared their experiences, offering insights that have transformed the way I approach my business. Here are some of the best pieces of advice I’ve received:

1. Focus on Your USP - One seasoned seller once told me, “Don’t just sell a product; sell a solution.” This advice reminded me to continuously ask: What sets my product apart? Whether it's quality, innovation, or customer experience, ensuring that your product has a unique edge is crucial to standing out in a crowded marketplace.

2. The Power of Great Product Listings - Another seller shared this golden nugget: “Your listing is your salesperson. Make it work for you.” High-quality images, keyword-rich titles, and persuasive bullet points are non-negotiable. They stressed that investing time in crafting a compelling listing is just as important as designing a great product.

3. Consistency Is Key - One mentor reminded me, “Success on Amazon isn’t about quick wins; it’s about staying consistent.” Whether it’s in your marketing, inventory management, or customer service, consistent effort and attention to detail can help you build trust and long-term success.

4. Build for the Long Term, Not Just the Next Sale - A veteran seller encouraged me to think beyond just profits: “Turn every transaction into a relationship.” Building a brand that resonates with customers creates loyalty. A returning customer is far more valuable than a one-time buyer.

5. Data Is Your Best Friend - “Amazon provides you with so much data—use it!” Understanding sales trends, customer reviews, and advertising metrics has been a game-changer for optimizing my listings, pricing strategies, and inventory planning.

6. Learn to Adapt - In the dynamic world of e-commerce, one piece of advice stands out: “The only constant is change.” Staying informed about Amazon policies, market trends, and emerging technologies has helped me pivot quickly and remain competitive.

7. Take Calculated Risks - Lastly, an inspiring seller reminded me: “You’ll never know unless you try.” From launching new products to experimenting with ads, taking calculated risks has led to some of the most rewarding moments in my journey.

I’m incredibly grateful for the generosity of the Amazon seller community. Each conversation has reinforced the idea that e-commerce is not just about selling products but building value, relationships, and resilience.
