UK account suspended due to AVD violations; any possibility of reinstatement?

Hello,

My UK account was suspended for a few AVD violations - I had shipped a few orders that required AVD delivery, without it. I was getting warnings, and had decided to convert all of these listings to FBA - this way, the AVD could be done automatically / by Amazon. Unfortunately, during the process of shipping the goods to FBA, my account got another AVD violation and I was suspended.

It has been some months. On the appeals page they kept asking for proof I had used AVD, which I couldn’t provide. They eventually said:

“After reviewing your account and the information that you provided, we have decided that your ability to sell seller-fulfilled items will remain deactivated.”

This implies I would be able to sell again on Amazon, but only via FBA. My question is, how do I move forward with doing so?

All my other accounts are fine and I can sell as normal on them.

Can anybody assist in moving forward with this? I need to sell again on the UK site, one way or another. Is there anybody I can contact who won’t send a copy and paste response?

Thank you.

Maybe it’s me, but what on earth do you mean by AVD violations?

As to what you need to do, it’s fairly simple, you need to use FBA going forward.
If you don’t how to use FBA, then I suggest that you go look at Seller University, where it gives a fairly decent overview of using the service.

Have you spoken with an account health specialist on that link ?

Yes but only via the appeals messages, and I just get the same response copied and pasted. Getting them to call me doesn’t work, my phone never rings

As above, contact MD

My advice going forward would be to speak with your parents for advice
They sell the same products here on amazon and therefore they know the requirements
Ask them what you need to do to meet legal and amazon requirements
I know from previous threads you didn’t want their accountants advice etc , but they seem to be doing OK so listen to them - no lecture intended

Thanks, this I guess is my only option. Do you know the full email for the MD?

Search suppressed does not mean it is removed. Most likely you should still retain the option of converting the listing to FBA. Once it is successfully changed to FBA, the status should change to “Inactive (Out of Stock)” instead. Adding a new condition and choosing FBA should also create another similar listing, and the status should be Inactive out of stock as well.

If you convert to FBA and it is still search suppressed, then you will need them to look into this for you.

That suggests your account itself is still valid. What does it say on the Account Information page under Account Status?

Hello, Our account has been suspended many times before and its always a nightmare to get it back. Sometimes can take months to be reactivated. Amazon eventually opens it but the last time it took 6 months. I ended using Amazon attorney to deal with them as I had no patience to deal with them anymore. I used the appeal guru, but I guess all are fine. They have different way to deal with the performance team and sometimes they go directly avoiding performance. I suggest you to keep on trying as they will re-open you eventually. I would hate to be in this situation ever again. Amazon can be brutal in this way, the attitude is its my house, my rules. Attorney told me not to put ever again everything in one basket. I am now working on this. Good luck and kind regards
