Really frustrating. we have also been facing the same issues, Almost 50% COD orders are rejected by buyers. Amazon should act on this.

there is nothing to do with the same, we better opt out from amazon easy ship and make our shipping as self shipment use third party apps like shiprocket they are very much easy to use and automated process is also making hassle free work.
we can save more money with the same and seller who are facing issue of cancellation and rejection or fraud customer orders got very much relief by self shipment as now door to door pickup and good tracking data provided by third party services are very good and they also call to customer prior to delivery so they can do delivery in first attempt also they are having features like COD or reverse pickup so you dont have to worry for the reverse pickup.
those who are facing such problems there is only one solution opt out from easy ship, it will drop your business by 10 to 15 % initially but whatever business you got is pure business with good profit also.
in Every Festival or in Sales we bear very good quantity in return its because of amazons policy of COD and Replacement or Refund,
Amazon and all other Online platform must deactivate COD and Return and Refund Option on those Products which are sold in Sales period and there will be charge of 10 to 15 % from customer pocket if they wanted to return the product or take at least 50% of Product Value in advance as an security deposit for each orders under Rs.1000/- so the fraud Customer fear for doing such things, amazon must cancel duplicate orders from customer by automated process like flipkart do so it will save time and money of seller.
there is no future if the online platform will continue to give customer base services and ignore to sellers satisfaction, many sellers drop from online platform because of frustration and harassment done by both customer and amazon policy, customer use every loop hole available and seller has no any rights and stop power to make loss.
we got good number of sales in Events but as and when the events got over we also receive more than 30% products in return as customer rejection. so think twice what you earn?
You are not earning online platform is Earning Pure profit from fees and Shipping Charge you are just doing Rolling of funds not more than that.
