Three months ago, I was actively selling my products on Meesho. Everything was going fine until I started receiving wrong returns and frequent RTOs (Return to Origin). After checking multiple orders, I noticed something strange — all the fake returns were from one location: Rajasthan.

At first, I thought maybe the problem was with Meesho’s third-party courier partners. But when all the issues were coming from just one city, it was clear this wasn’t a random problem — it was a pattern.

So I decided to stop selling on Meesho and moved to Amazon, hoping for a more secure experience.

But guess what? The same issue started again — wrong returns from Jodhpur.

This is how the scam works:

The buyer places an order.

They request a replacement — which Amazon allows easily.

Once they receive the second item, they initiate a return.

But the return package contains something else — a cheap item, an empty box, or sometimes nothing.

Amazon gives them a full refund, and they now have two products for free.

This means the seller (me) loses not only the product but also money spent on shipping, handling, and packaging.

This is clearly a planned scam happening in Jodhpur, Rajasthan, and it is hurting genuine sellers. If platforms like Amazon and Meesho, and local authorities, do not take this seriously now, more sellers will suffer huge losses in the future.

I’m sharing this so other sellers stay alert. And I request both platforms and law enforcement to investigate this issue before it grows even bigger.

I guess each one of us selling on Amazon has encountered fake orders and returns too. Few returns and buyers are genuine while some are fake. But when someone gets refund for their order citing a fake reason they get refund from customer support unbiased. But when seller asks the details or wants to verify that on which grounds refund was initiated , the seller support will always respond saying that we cant access customer support data neither tell you on what grounds refund was processed.

SO, THERE IS NO TRANSPARENCY FOR SELLER. SECONDLY, THE SELLER EVEN CANNOT KNOW ON WHAT GROUNDS THE REFUND WAS PROCESSED. IN MANY CASES WHEN A PHYSICAL PRODUCT IS SHIPPED INTACT. THE CUSTOMER QUOTES RECEIVED DAMAGE PRODUCT OR DOES DAMAGE TO IT AS THERE IS NO RETURN POLICY FOR THAT PRODUCT BECAUSE THAT PRODUCT WAS LISTED IN A CATEGORY WHICH WAS NON- RETURNABLE.

NOW AMAZON COMES AND REFUND YOUR ORDER WITHOUT PROVIDING ANY PROOFS TO TAKE THE SELLER INTO CONFIDENCE. RATHER THEY SAY WE CANT ACCESS DATA AND LET YOU KNOW ON WHAT GROUNDS REFUND WAS PROCESSED.

I GUESS MANY OF OUR SELLERS FROM OUR SELLING COMMUNITY HAVE GONE THROUGH THIS. I MYSELF HAVE GONE THROUGH THIS.

I GUESS ITS HIGH TIME NOW. SELLERS SHOULD UNITE AGAINST THESE POLICY AND REPORT IT. ANYWAYS GOVERNMENT JUST EARNS TAXES FROM OUR SALES AND SO DOES AMAZON GETS COMMISSION. LOSS OCCURS TO SELLERS EVENTUALLY AS THERE IS NO SELLER PROTECTION POLICY .

DON'T YOU THINK ACTION SHOULD BE TAKEN.???

I DEFINITELY WILL FIGHT AGAINST THIS AND DRAG AMAZON INDIA INTO THE COURT FOR THE NON TRANSPARENCY IN THEIR POLICIES.

WISH IF ALL SELLERS GET UNITED IT CAN BE TACKLED UP EASILY.

Even after getting GST exemption approval, my listing is still inactive. Amazon isn't for small sellers. I just want to sell bookmarks. They do not give any reason why it's inactive.

First order not picked up easy ship

I got my first order day before yesterday. I scheduled a pick up on time and called the pick up boy 4 times which he did not answer finally in the 5th attempt he picked and said due to rains he got late. I waited again it was 630pm I called him and the call was unanswered. Today I wait again and I feel its a hassle if this is how it will continue. Being a working women with a fairly new brand i am trying to build selling on amazon even for less than a month makes me think if i would wish to continue. The reason I opted for easy ship was because I felt it was convenient but now i am doubting that as well. The only good process I had was of onboarding nothing post that! Can some one tell me how to connect with easy ship any contact or email that i can write to?

I am writing to seek urgent assistance regarding persistent and significant deductions on my Amazon Seller account that are severely impacting my ability to sell profitably.

For the past three months, I have been facing unexplained and excessive "Other" charges.

Past 2 Months: I have been charged approximately INR 12,000 in what Amazon identifies as "Other" charges related to "weight and dimension."

My product genuinely weighs 100 grams, and with standard packaging, the total weight is consistently 105 grams. However, Amazon is apparently charging me as if my product weighs 500 grams – which is a massive discrepancy and far beyond any reasonable or permissible limit for my item.

To even attempt to resolve this, I incurred additional costs by purchasing a weight machine to accurately verify my product's weight, which itself has added to my financial burden and already exceeds the amounts being deducted for these errors.

I have already submitted the necessary documentation, including weight images and a dimension form, to Seller Support. Despite my efforts, I have not yet received a satisfactory response or resolution. It is incredibly difficult to understand how a 105-gram product can be misidentified as 500 grams, and how this can go uncorrected after providing evidence.

This situation feels incredibly unfair, and it seems as though the seller's perspective and accurate data are not being considered. I am genuinely struggling to comprehend how to continue selling on Amazon under these circumstances of arbitrary and significant deductions.

Adding to this immense frustration, I have filed a "clawback form" to dispute these incorrect charges FOUR (4) separate times. Each time, my form has been rejected, despite my meticulous efforts. A day before yesterday, I submitted the form again, including 7 detailed images per ASIN as required, proving the correct weight and dimensions. Yet, there has been no resolution, and the forms continue to be rejected without clear explanation or action.

Now, on top of these unresolved weight and dimension issues that have been bleeding my account for months, I've also been hit with a new, unexplained "Other" deduction labeled "splat_use_case_3976_label" for approximately INR 4,000 today (May 29, 2025).

Today (May 29, 2025): I have been hit with another unexplained "Other" charge of INR 4,000 under the label "splat_use_case_3976_label." This is a completely unfamiliar label, and I have no idea what it pertains to.

These combined deductions are making it extremely difficult to operate. How can sellers manage their business effectively when such large, unexplained amounts are being consistently debited?

Could anyone in the community shed light on what "splat_use_case_3976_label" signifies? Also, what is the best way to dispute these recurring and seemingly incorrect weight and dimension charges?

I desperately need this case resolved as soon as possible. Any guidance or assistance from experienced sellers or Amazon representatives would be greatly appreciated.

dear sellers, in the month of May 2025, the amazon easyship ship by dates have been erratic. we ship exclusively using amazon easyship. we are a business that has put the default handling time for orders as 0 days (to enable same day shipping).

previously, when an order gets punched, after 1.30 pm on a day 'D', the ship by date will be 'D+1' day. for orders that are punched on the day 'D' before 1.30 pm, the ship by date will be 'D' itself.

this has not been the case this month. can other sellers let me know whether this is the case with them as well? has amazon acknowledged this issue and are they working towards a resolution? seller support has not been helpful as they throw around terms like "easyship is a highway, the ship by dates depend on a lot of factors like the traffic on the highway" etc etc.
